世界経済史会議

去年のブラジルに続いて、今年も南半球に行ってきます。今回は南アフリカ！　アフリカ大陸初上陸です。
しかも今回は、経済史の学会。オレ、経済学科中退なんですが……　美術の経済というような枠組みのセッションです。ざっと訳すると「美術貿易の技術（アート）--アジア、アメリカ諸国におけるヨーロッパ美術の経済価値の交渉」というくらいでしょうか。目白大学の小林頼子さんからお話を頂きました。


会議は、ケープ・タウン近くのステレンボッシュっていう街で開催されます。ワイナリーと大学で有名な街らしい。きれいな感じの街だけど、他になんかあるのかなぁ。まあ、ケープ・タウンまで電車で1時間程度らしいんで、日帰りできそう。


ちなみに今回もエミレーツ航空でドバイ経由。今回は予約が遅れたせいで待ち時間が24時間近くあるんで、ホテルを取って観光も少しできそう。
